19th century Swedish table with large drawer

A very useful painted Swedish table with central drawer from circa 1890.

Striped and still and showing traces of historic paint on the tapered legs and body.

The top is painted black with a rubbed through finish.

Likely a country piece it can easily be used as a desk , will freestand and has quite an elegant form that would work well in a contemporary interior.
