Wonderful quality C19th Swedish birch Secretaire in the style of Karl Johan.

The Secretaire is in two parts is of superior quality and weight.

It has depth of colour, a deep warm honey and lovely marking to the wood.

A high quality piece which possibly was custom made as we have never had a Secretaire or bureau with so many secret compartments.

Perhaps the original owner had a lot to hide.

However an interesting talking point and a wonderful useful addition for the home.
