A handsome and unusual pair of painted and upholstered Swedish armchairs from the early 1900's.

The armchairs have classical decoration to the front and sides, featuring a deep border with Griffins and stylised flames.

The arms have mask and carved tassels and the partially open sides crossed arrows with quivered ends.

The paint on the wood and frame work has been refreshed.
