A 1950/60s Swedish flatweave rug initialled with insignia IR attributed to Ida Rydelius.

On a lovely muted sage green background there is a  design of concentric rectangals with a strong stepped lozenge pattern of dark and light green, mid blue, pink and light brown. A nice example of the designers style and work.

In good condition, wear commensurate with age and use.
