William Lonnberg a Finnish painter born 1887 was known for his colourful post -impressionist portraits and landscapes. In the early C20th he moved from his native Finland to Denmark and belonged to the Rydeng colony which took strong impressions of contemporary Danish art (the November Group) He exhibited at the Venice Biennale in 1928 and when he returned to his homeland in the late 1920s he worked as an art teacher and became a popular and well known portrait painter. 

This framed oil painting of a girl with flowers (the artists daughter) is a colourful example of his work.
