C18th gilt framed oil painting of The Battle of the Boyne after Dutch artist Jan Wyck.
It shows a panoramic landscape view from the northern vantage point of the forces of King William 111 looking south across the Boyne to King James 11 at Donore hill in 1690.
In an impressive carved gilt frame the painting has over the years has had paint loss and been restored and retouched.
The artist here is unknown although it is believed that the artistic information were taken from the sketches of artist Dirk Maes who was present at the battle.
