Circa 1930 framed oil painting on canvas of an unknown young woman in a yellow dress, however she conveys a somewhat imperious demeanour.

Given her hairstyle, dress and the very definite cubist painstrokes especially round the head area we would date her to the 1920s/30s which would tie in as sadly the artist died young in 1934.

By Finnish artist Llmari Aalto who was largely known as an expressionist painter who went on into cubism.

He was one of three artists who contributed to painting the large landscape 'Koli' at Helsinki central station.
